A special thank you to our 5K director, Alison Green, and to her team of Dawn Holliday and Brandy Snow. They have worked so hard and have done an outstanding job of organizing the race. A special big thanks to our business and family sponsors. Your help and participation is greatly appreciated. The run will be a huge success because of you!
May 17th It has been a great year at Discovery and it is time to give special thanks to all the parents for supporting their children, their classrooms and Discovery on so many different levels. As much as it feels like a whirlwind at imes, it is important to take the time to celebrate the year with your child. On May 17th, we are hoping all of you will join us at Lindenwood University in Belleville from 6:30-7:30. The children will provide the entertainment as we celebrate the 2015-2016 school year as well as Discovery’s 50th anniversary. Lindenwood University’s auditorium was chosen to accommodate a large group so feel free to bring grandparents and friends. We hope to see you all at: Lindenwood University, 2600 West Main in Belleville.
May 19th Last Day of school for this school year.
May 31st Summer Camp will begin. It will end of August 5th.
The Tree of Lifelong Learning: As the school year ends, please remember our Tree of Lifelong Learning (between the red and blue rooms). It was commissioned by one of our families many eyars ago as a permanent fundraiser for the school. Families may make a donation (minimum of $25 suggested) and have a leaf engraved in honor of your child, your family, or a loved one. This, along with any donation to Discovery is tax deductible. We hope you will participate in this simple, but special opportunity.
