Welcome to the Yellow Room
3-5 year-old Preschool for All/Project Child Classroom
Yellow Classroom Happenings
During the month of October, we spent time learning about fire safety and letter and number identification. We went on our pumpkin picking field trip and did many activities involving pumpkins, counting, and patterning.
During the month of November, we will continue to focus on many activities on the Fall theme. As we get closer to Thanksgiving Break, we will focus on family. We will continue learning the letters in our name, as well as the other letters of the alphabet. We will also work on number identification, counting, and writing in our journals.
Starting this month, we will be sending home a “homework bag” with students. This is a great way to connect learning between home and school. Please complete the activity in the bag and return it to school within 2 days so the bag can be sent home with another student. If you have any questions, please let us know. Thank you!
Ms. Amy graduated from Lindenwood University in 2010 with a Master’s Degree in Education. For the last 18 years, she worked as an elementary school teacher in St. Louis. Ms. Amy began working at Discovery School in June 2018 in order to be closer to her home and family. Ms. Amy has always loved teaching and loves seeing the smiling face of the children at Discovery School.
